On April 16, 2021, Peaky Blinders fans suffered a massive loss.
Helen McCrory, who played Aunt Polly, passed away from breast cancer.
She was only 52.
The world mourned the beloved actress.
As her death occurred before Series 6, fans are left to wonder if she will be involved at all.
In addition, the cast expressed their feelings towards Helen McCrory’s untimely death.
Cillian Murphy, who plays the show’s central character, Thomas Shelby, was vocal about how he enjoyed working with the late actress.
The trailer for Peaky Blinders Series 6 was released on January 1, 2022.
However, Helen McCrory was not in the footage.
Moreover, neither did it include a release date.

Helen McCrory served as the Shelby clan’s iconic matriarch as her nephew Thomas Shelby, played by Cillian Murphy, is the patriarch.
The two are a fan-favorite duo in Peaky Blinders.
Helen McCrory is also known for playing Draco Malfoy’s mother in the Harry Potter series, Narcissa Malfoy.

She ran the business as Tommy and the hoys were fighting in WWI.
By Series 2, she reunited with her estranged son, Michael (Finn Cole). She also experienced love and loss just like Tommy and the rest of the Shelby family.

It featured a Romani funeral but whose is it?
It could be Aunt Polly, or perhaps another member altogether.
Any longtime fan knows that death is practically a main character in Peaky Blinders.
