It has been confirmed that Paul Bettany has a vision for his future in the MCU. The actor confirmed a further stay for the android.

Paul Bettany sat down with Esquire to talk about his time in WandaVision.

He shared how he felt about his role. “I love Vision. Yes, I’m in,” Paul Bettany said.

Since the conclusion of Avengers: Infinity War and, of course, the Disney Plus series WandaVision, fans have been speculating what’s next for the hero.

When WandaVision revealed that the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) recreated him via memory and his actual body had been left to be experimented on by S.W.O.R.D., viewers were left to wonder if the resurrection was permanent.

More questions need to be answered about that resurrection.

And since the series is now over, Vision’s fate is unknown.

Paul Bettany also expressed eagerness to explore more of his character and go outside the minor roles he served during the MCU films.

Including how Vision will stand without Wanda.

Paul Bettany explained:

I mean, that’s the thing, right? I’ve never had a loved one to lose… I don’t know what grief is because I’ve never had a loved one to lose. There is so much to get into with him because it’s been ten minutes here, ten minutes there, in the movies. Now we’re sort of just starting to sort of peel back some stuff.

He had to shoulder a double load of work when the two Visions faced off in the TV series, which proved to be a tough task for the actor.

“I was super intimidated by myself,” Paul Bettany said jokingly. “I would come in one day and I would be Vision or The Vision. Then Adam Lytle, my stunt guy, would play Vision. And he learned all of the dialogue and for both parts — he was brilliant. We would play the scene like that. And then the next day, he would come in. And he would get The Vision. Then I would get Vision. And then we would play the scene like that and the same to the fights so that they could always have my bella faccia on camera, at some point. It was more confusing than I had sort of allotted. It used up all of my brain.”

All WandaVision episodes are now streaming on Disney Plus.
