Patrick Stewart Return Professor X Doctor Strange 2

Patrick Stewart could return as Professor X after Doctor Strange 2. According to a new report, Patrick Stewart isn’t quite finished yet.

First, Patrick Stewart confirmed his inclusion in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Certainly, Patrick Stewart has been the talk of the town lately. His voice in the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer blew minds.

His voice is unmistakably recognizable. Nevertheless, he tried to take a page from Andrew Garfield’s playbook. In other words, he denied his involvement in the movie.

Moreover, he even went as far as to ask during an interview:

Who’s Doctor Strange?”

Still, fans remained convinced that was Patrick Stewart’s voice they heard. Now Patrick Stewart has ultimately decided to drop the charade. He officially confirmed his return as Professor X.

Somewhere, Garfield is giggling.

Patrick Stewart said:

I actually didn’t recognize my own voice, it sounded different. Whether I had a cold or something at the time, I don’t know, but I was astonished and all they saw was the back of my shoulder and I think my earlobe, nothing else that there would have been so many connections made. It pleased me.

However, his appearance in the Doctor Strange sequel might not be the only time we see his Professor X in the MCU.

There is life beyond Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

The new leak reveals that Patrick Stewart will return for another Marvel Studios film.

Apparently, Patrick Stewart will be involved in at least one more MCU movie before retiring from the character for good.

Granted, where we could see him again as Professor X wasn’t specified. But our insiders add that Marvel Studios has future plans for the Illuminati.

The Illuminati debut in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Steve McNiven co-created the Illuminati in 2005’s New Avengers No. 7. In the comic books, Professor X was a member of these powerful intellectuals.

In other words, the Illuminati in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is not a one-shot deal.

Patrick Stewart is likely to come back in the Secret Wars crossover movies. Indeed, Secret Wars will explore more of the multiverse.

In fact, Secret Wars is the next Avengers: Endgame-level event that the MCU is building towards. The Illuminati will mostly survive Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. They’ll play a significant role in Marvel Studios’ future plans.

Could the Illuminati have a Disney Plus show? It’s possible. So far, none of our sources have mentioned it.

Nonetheless, nobody has ruled it out of the question. It’ll depend on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness‘ reception.

Keep in mind, though, that this isn’t the same Professor X in Logan. He died. This is a variant. Otherwise, Patrick Stewart wouldn’t have come back.

Even though James McAvoy did an exceptional job making Professor X his own, there’s just no topping Patrick Stewart as Professor X. Having him return to the MCU for more than one film would be both a smart and exciting move.

Make it so.
