One Direction’s Harry Styles could be the MCU’s biggest new star.
Moreover, he’s a surprise as well.
After all, a One Direction member with an MCU role?
Indeed, Harry Styles in Eternals shocked fans.
Furthermore, it’s a random character, either.
Specifically, he’s Eros, the brother of Thanos.
In the comic books, they also call him Starfox.
Harry Styles is a world famous pop star.
He debuted in and got famous on The X Factor in 2010.
He started as a solo artist in the competition; however, he didn’t make the cut.
Despite that, he was put into a group with other aspiring artists.
They were named One Direction.
The group won third place for The X Factor in 2010.
Later, the band got a contract and was active until 2016.
During that year, Harry Styles went solo.
Thus, One Direction is on hiatus.
Christopher Nolan cast Harry Styles in his war movie, Dunkirk.
It was his first acting gig.
Nevertheless, critics praised his performance.
His acting in Dunkirk caught Marvel Studios’ eye.
They cast him as Starfox.
Insiders revealed that Marvel Studios has “big plans for Harry Styles.”
They explained that Eternals is only the beginning of multiple MCU films.

Harry Styles will be involved in more cosmic epics. He could be the MCU’s biggest new star.
Eternals producer Nate Moore explained Harry Styles’ appeal.
He’s charming. He’s nice to everybody. He is kind of Eros. And so, it was an easy conversation. I think for him, it’s a bigger risk for Harry Styles to be in this movie than for us to cast Harry Styles. Because he has such a specific fan base and he’s a musician, and now he’s becoming an actor, but that’s not necessarily his core thing. And to take a flyer on this really random character that he also knows is vaguely problematic, I think was sort of a bigger leap of faith for him.
One Direction’s Harry Styles Could Be The MCU’s Biggest Star
In the comics, Eros himself is a Titanian just like Thanos.
However, Thanos has a deviant gene which makes him different from the rest of his race.
On the other hand, Eros looks like any human.
In addition, Eros is a charming person in the comics.
It is actually one of his powers.
People around him feel good.
Also, he can even make people fall in love with him.
Or towards another if he chooses to.
As a result, Marvel Studios selected Harry Styles because of his natural charm.
Eternals introduced Harry Styles as Eros during the mid-credits scene.
In the scene, he was also accompanied by Pip the Troll, voiced by Patton Oswalt.
After Eternals, Harry Styles’ future is bright but the MCU projects are unknown.
We do wonder if he will be in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 or maybe even the Holiday Special?
After all, Eros is friends with Pip, Adam Warlock’s buddy.
Warlock is in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
