Jared Leto isn’t finished with the Joker yet.

In just two weeks, Jared Leto’s Morbius will bare his fangs to the world. The trailer alone encapsulates the introduction of Morbius the Living Vampire. In his desperation to save people’s lives, including his own, from a terminal illness, he ends up turning himself into what he believes is a monster.

The film will let the world know of Morbius’ struggles in his journey of finding the cure. Then, his journey of finding how he can live with what he has done to himself. And finally, his journey to accepting and embracing himself.

As for acceptance, Jared Leto is aware of how far-reaching the possibilities of being in a superhero movie are. Furthermore, he’s no stranger to comic-book characters. He knows and accepts the fact that there are possibilities of crossing other characters to Morbius’ path.

A number of other characters have teamed up with Morbius in the comics. Specifically, they are Man-Thing, Ghost Rider and Werewolf by Night. He also even teamed up with Doctor Strange for the Midnight Sons.

Even though Morbius is usually classified as a villain, in the comics, he has teamed up with Spider-Man himself for a common goal.

In these lines, anything is possible as to how Morbius can progress his story from this first movie. Marvel Studios and Sony have a good working arrangement with Spider-Man. Plus, with what Doctor Strange is about to do, storylines can more fluidly flow creative-wise.

We need not even mention that Marvel Studios already is treading the horror path in its current projects. Well, we just did.

Thus, for Morbius, there is a good promise or potential for possible follow-up projects.
