Kirsten Dunst was rumored to appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home; however, is she?
With the focus on Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, Kirsten Dunst’s status is unknown.
After all, there’s no scene in the trailer with Maguire kissing an invisible figure while upside down.
Neither Tom Holland, Maguire, nor Garfield have teased her return.
There are no dinner pics with her and Zendaya.
No images of hugging Garfield.
In fact, Kirsten Dunst is the forgotten surprise.
Nevertheless, last month Kirsten Dunst used The MCU Denial.
During an interview with Total Film, Kirsten Dunst did her finest Garfield impersonation.
She stated in an interview with Total Film magazine:
I’m not in that movie, no. I know there’s rumors, right?… No, I’m the only one [not in it]. ‘Can’t put an old girl in there!’
We believe you, Kirsten Dunst.

On October 22, Mikaela Ong reported that Kirsten Dunst and Emma Stone could be in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Ong wrote:
Back in early August, Dunst was pictured to be in a studio to film a mystery project, located in Los Angeles. Guess what? Holland and Garfield were spotted in the same area.
Since then, the trail went cold.
Most likely, Kirsten Dunst has little screen time.
From my perspective, it’d be odd to see Maguire but no Dunst.
It’d be a missed opportunity.
To Kirsten Dunst’s credit, she can still act, especially in creative denials.
Variety asked her what her character Mary Jane Watson would be doing now.

She replied:
I would do it. Why not? That would be fun. I would never say no to something like that. I’d be old MJ at this point with little Spidey babies.
Spoiler alert?
It’s hard to imagine Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige not asking her to return.
Furthermore, Kirsten Dunst said she would come back if asked.
Therefore, she was asked.
And she’s coming back in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Friends, this isn’t rocket science.
Kirsten Dunst co-starred in Sam Raimi’s trilogy of Spider-Man films.
Of course, they were before the MCU.
Moreover, Kirsten Dunst claimed she’s oblivious to the MCU.
She said:
I don’t watch superhero movies…I can’t tell you the last time I saw one.
After December 17, she can tell you the last time she was in one.
