Hugh Jackman has recently showed off the return his famous Wolverine beard ahead of Deadpool 3 filming.
When it was announced that Hugh Jackman would be returning as Wolverine in Deadpool 3, Marvel fans everywhere were ecstatic. Understandable as it was originally believed that the actor was finally done with the role after 2017’s Logan.
That movie ended with the heartbreaking death of the titular hero seemingly ending his story for good. Nonetheless, Ryan Reynolds wasn’t letting Jackman retire without the pair doing at least one movie together.
Deadpool 3 will finally bring us the definitive team-up between the two fan favourite characters we’ve been years waiting for. Their time together in X-Men Origins: Wolverine doesn’t count as that wasn’t really Deadpool.

Moreover, this also means that Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine would be joining the MCU along with Reynolds’ Deadpool. Following the announcement of his return, Jackman has been working tirelessly to get back into shape for Wolverine.
Back when he was still actively playing the character, he would continuously express his feelings towards his workout diet. He did not enjoy it.
Nevertheless, he hasn’t let it stop him from quickly getting his superhero physique back. Stefan Kapičić who voices Colossus in the Deadpool films recently confirmed that filming on the upcoming sequel has just commenced.
Filming is currently taking place in London despite the going WGA strike that’s greatly affecting Hollywood. In addition, Hugh Jackman recently posted a selfie via his Instagram showing that he’s indeed en route to London.
Those who’ve seen the selfie couldn’t help but notice something familiar about the actor. Hugh Jackman has regrown his iconic Wolverine muttonchops and has decided to show them off.
For a while now, the actor has been sporting a full beard and has only recently shaved his upper lip. Even though he didn’t mention Deadpool 3 in his post, but the reason behind it is clear.

Furthermore, the photo has since been taken down for unknown reasons. With filming underway, hopefully we’ll soon see set photos of Hugh Jackman in character.
Who knows? Maybe we’ll even finally see him wearing Wolverine’s classic yellow and black suit.
