Henry Cavill wants a cameo in Black Adam.
The last time we saw Henry Cavill as Superman was in Justice League in 2017.
Although we did see him in The Snyder Cut, that’s still considered a 2017 film.
Regardless of what people think of the movies that he was in, namely Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, and Justice League, he still was a great Clark Kent/Superman.
He just wasn’t given the chance to shine; nevertheless, that’s not his fault.
Man of Steel did well in theaters with a box office take of $668 million globally.
However, Batman v Superman performed below expectations with $872 million worldwide.
But a combination of studio interference and a bloated budget knocked it out of orbit.
Joss Whedon’s Justice League only got $657.9 and lost around an estimated $60 to $70 million.
The movie failed because of management.
By not believing in Zack Snyder’s vision, they made changes mid-production.
Because of the failure of one picture, the people behind DC Films shifted and changed.
Under the new management, Henry Cavill hasn’t been given a chance to wear the cape again for another movie.
Henry Cavill himself hasn’t been in the suit for five years now but he still wants to be Superman.
From what we gathered before, he still looks forward to being Superman again.
It’s a good thing that we saw Snyder’s original vision of Justice League since it reinvigorated people to believe that there is more to the Snyderverse than just Aquaman or Wonder Woman.

We did mention before that Henry Cavill might show up in other movies that connect to the Snyderverse.
In fact, Geekosity scooped on April 11 that Henry Cavill could cameo in Black Adam.
A new rumor claims Henry Cavill aims for such an opportunity.
It’s still DC Films’ decision if they are interested in letting it happen.
Unfortunately, it seems that DC Films wants to let the Snyderverse fade away.
J.J. Abrams is developing a new Superman project that doesn’t involve Henry Cavill.
The news caused a stir among Snyder fans, but it’s simply an Elseworlds project; it’s not part of the DCEU.
Henry Cavill isn’t being replaced.
I think the people do believe that Henry Cavill has still a lot to offer as Superman.
Lots of people even want a Man of Steel 2, especially Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
It seems that Henry Cavill himself is also working his way to get this done.
There were rumors that he might be part of the new Shazam! Fury of the Gods movie starring Zachary Levi since his cameo role in the first one didn’t push through.
Although The Shazam! sequel is already heavy into production, this still might be possible.
If Henry Cavill can get himself into a few more DC projects, he could solidify Man of Steel 2.
Even though Henry Cavill and The Rock want this to happen, it will still depend on DC Films if they will allow it.
Insiders said Black Adam is going to be part of the Snyderverse.
However, it seems Johnson is not allowed to say anything about his upcoming movie at this time.
Johnson is the producer of Black Adam; moreover, he is also interested in producing Man of Steel 2.
We do hope that this time around, we get to see him wearing the blue suit and red cape again.
