When Henry Cavill cameos as Superman in The Rock’s Black Adam, he could be wearing his black outfit.

Henry Cavill is not done with Superman.

DC Films hasn’t made an official announcement, but rumors have circulated for months now.

J.J. Abrams’ decision to cast a Black Superman for his standalone Man of Steel film triggered false alarms.

Abrams’ movie is an Elseworlds project; his Superman will not replace Henry Cavill.

On February 27, we scooped that Henry Cavill wasn’t finished as Superman.

There were simply two issues that needed to be overcome.

First, Henry Cavill’s price tag increased since Joss Whedon’s bastard child Justice League in 2017.

Netflix’ The Witcher boosted Henry Cavill’s value.

Henry Cavill is hot stuff. Warner Bros. is aware of this; insiders reveal they will pay up.

Secondly, Henry Cavill’s schedule is being stuffed like a turkey; is there room left?

We have reported before that The Rock wanted to include Henry Cavill’s Superman in Black Adam.

Moreover, he’s such a fan of the Man of Steel that he is also interested in producing its sequel if given the chance.

In fact, Henry Cavill himself also confirmed that he is interested to do a cameo for The Rock’s upcoming movie.

There is also hope that he will be doing a cameo in David Sandberg’s Shazam! Fury of the Gods since they are also currently shooting the film.

Henry Cavill is reportedly going to wear the black suit from Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

If this is the case, it means that the Snyderverse is going to continue.

Does this mean that Joss Whedon’s version is officially non-canon?

Is Zack Snyder’s version back in the DC Extended Universe?

There are a lot of questions there.

But we have reported before that The Rock is making Black Adam the way he always envisioned, and nobody will stand in his way.

Based on our latest private discussions, it does seem that he’s making Whedon’s version non-canon.

This can be confusing for moviegoers.

Then again, so is having various Jokers, Flashes, and Supermans across TV and film.

Is the Flash movie going to clear up the multiverse issue by wiping out the Whedon version instead of Snyder’s?

In any case, the Snyderverse looks like it’s going to live on in some fashion.

Superman wearing the black suit also means that Henry Cavill’s cameo role in Black Adam is set sometime after the events of The Snyder Cut.

Sources add that Superman is going to show up at the end of Black Adam.

This will set up a fight between Black Adam and Superman in a future sequel.

This is something comic book fans have been waiting for since based on strength alone, they practically are equals.

You can say that Superman’s speed can outmaneuver Black Adam, but Black Adam’s age is more prepared and combat-ready than Superman.

To tell you the truth, there is a fair amount of discussion online on who can win this battle.

Black Adam is scheduled to be released on July 29, 2022.
