After their respective MCU appearances, Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke could reunite. Indeed, fans wonder if the Game of Thrones veterans and former co-stars will ever cross paths in the MCU.
With the success of Chloé Zhao’s Eternals and Emilia Clarke’s role in the upcoming Secret Invasion, what does their future in the MCU look like?
To give a bit of background, Kit Harington played Jon Snow and Emilia Clarke was Daenerys Targaryen in HBO’s Game of Thrones.
The two served as major characters throughout most of the series; moreover, their characters are iconic all on their own.
They are known as the two lovers with a heartbreaking end in their pursuit of the Iron Throne.
Kit Harington made his MCU debut playing Dane Whitman in Eternals.
Since we can expect director Zhao to set up his future as the Black Knight, we haven’t seen the last of him.
In fact, Geekosity sources reveal that Disney Plus plans a Black Knight series for him.

But what do we know so far about Emilia Clarke?
First of all, the likeliness of them ever meeting is determined by what Emilia Clarke’s role is; that is important.
We can always pick up clues from the comic books if their highly anticipated reunion were to happen.
Geekosity Editor-in-Chief Mikey Sutton scooped that Emilia Clarke might be Abigail Brand.
Nevertheless, Marvel Studios hasn’t revealed Emilia Clarke’s role in Secret Invasion yet.
At this point, we know nothing about how she will impact the MCU.
In a recent interview, Kit Harington discussed how he’d feel about working with her at Marvel Studios.

No, we haven’t prepared to cross paths in the MCU. That would slightly blow my mind, I think, because me and Emilia had a lot together. So if we ended up crossing paths in a different franchise, I think we’d have a good old giggle about that.

On the other hand, Kit Harington would have to keep it a secret.
Kit Harington jokingly said that before even discussing their characters meeting, the MCU’s security is terrifying.
He admitted:
If we’re talking about security as in spoilers, I’m terrified of Marvel.
Meanwhile, Emilia Clarke’s role remains shrouded in mystery.
Likewise, she can’t say a word.
She shared on the Happy Sad Confused podcast.
The first people I spoke to with Marvel after getting the role was their security team… I actually live in fear that something is going to happen, and I’m going to say something, and they’ll get upset. But I play a character that I’m super into everything about it.
Eternals is now playing in theaters.
Secret Invasion is due for release in 2022 at Disney Plus.
