Fans rally for Sony to make sequels for Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield‘s Spider-Man films. However, will Spider-Man 4 and The Amazing Spider-Man 3 happen?

Regardless, #MakeRaimiSpiderMan4 and #MakeTASM3 trend worldwide on Twitter.

Andrew Garfield and Maguire made spectacular returns in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Love for both Andrew Garfield and Maguire’s respective versions of Spider-Man skyrocketed.

In fact, they’re possibly more popular than ever before.

Undoubtedly, that is true of Andrew Garfield.

Moreover, seeing Holland’s predecessors again sparked hope.

They ignited a huge interest in seeing more from them.

Immediately following the billion-dollar success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, audiences swarmed social media.

Inspired by the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement, fans of Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man movies came together.

They started a campaign to encourage Sony to move ahead with The Amazing Spider-Man 3.

Sony once planned the sequel; alas, it never happened.

The campaign’s goal is to finally give Andrew Garfield that opportunity.

He can wrap up his own trilogy.

Twitter users created the hashtag #MakeTASM3.

For the past few weeks the campaign found trended multiple times.

In addition to this Spider-Man campaign, a new one has now emerged.

On the other hand, this one’s for fans of Maguire’s original Spider-Man trilogy.

They’ve teamed up to convince Sony to resurrect Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 4.

That was sadly cancelled back in 2010 in favor of Marc Webb’s reboot.

Exit Maguire.

Enter Andrew Garfield.

On January 5, this second campaign launched.

Consequently, #MakeRaimiSpiderMan4 went viral on social media.

Furthermore, it immediately trended alongside #MakeTASM3.

Both are still gaining more traction with each day.

Unfortunately, neither Sony nor Marvel have responded to either of these campaigns.

With Holland’s second Spider-Man trilogy already planned out, it might confuse general audiences.

After all, three different live-action Spider-Man franchises?

Simultaneously?

It might be difficult for the studio to pull off.

Nevertheless, sources don’t rule them out.

If they’re not greenlit, that doesn’t mean it’s the end for Andrew Garfield and Maguire’s Spider-Mans.

Sony will no doubt capitalize on Spider-Man: No Way Home’s box office success.

The fan desire for the other two Spider-Men is intense.

On December 30, 2021, Geekosity founder Mikey Sutton scooped a discussed project called Spider-Men.

This will be another crossover film between Andrew Garfield and Maguire.

But Holland isn’t included; it’s a buddy pic with the two.

Therefore, it’s safe to assume that we can expect to see the Spider-Bros again.
