Ezra Miller’s The Flash Becomes Highest-Rated DCEU Film

Ezra Miller‘s The Flash just became the DCEU’s highest-rated film in test screenings.

With all the negative news against Ezra Miller, it’s no surprise a lot of people want to cancel The Flash. Amidst Warner Bros. Discovery canceling several DC-related projects including Strange Adventures, Batgirl, and The Wonder Twins. Some even expected that The Flash was getting the ax because of Ezra Miller’s troublesome behavior.

Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav was clear that the studio will not cancel The Flash. That move surprised the masses, considering how much trouble Miller has been in for many months now. Individuals and families have accused the actor of drug possession, disorderly conduct, harassment, and more recently, burglary (of alcohol).

Regardless of his actions, Miller was still able to work on reshoots for The Flash. And Miller’s public apology last August 15 made Warner Bros. Discovery CEO confident that The Flash can still be bankable. And with already close to a $300 million budget, it’s a big gamble.

The Flash has several stars that can still make the movie a success. Mainly, Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton returning as their respective Batmans. Not only that, but also director Andy Muschietti, who has consistently put out quality films, may have another hit in his hands.

The world knows Muschietti for his work on It. In fact, his debut movie Mama was also another well-made film. So far, Muschietti’s films, regardless of the ratings, are box office winners.

According to a report, The Flash has received the highest-rated test score compared to any DCEU film. This gave confidence to Zaslav that The Flash will be a hit. If it beats out Wonder Woman or Shazam!, we wonder what we can expect from Muschietti’s film?

Of course, test screenings are very different from movie reviews. But this does give us a better understanding why Zaslav wants The Flash to be released. If it tested better than any other film, then Zaslav is betting that The Flash puts DC into the limelight.

Everyone expects the film to have a ton of cameos like Jason Momoa and Gal Gadot. Not only that, but talks surface that we would expect to see Christopher Reeve’s Superman, Adam West’s Batman, Helen Slater’s Supergirl, and even Linda Carter’s Wonder Woman.

Will we also see Grant Gustin meet up again with Ezra Miller for the second time? Is Henry Cavill showing up this time around? Although we can’t be sure how much all these cameo roles will be part of the film.

Michael Keaton, on the other hand, is not in a cameo role. He’s a major component to the movie. Reports say that he’ll be in more than half of the film. He’ll be there for more than even Ben Affleck’s Batman.

Apparently, Miller played his part perfectly. From the sound of it, so did the movie.
