Emily VanCamp Says The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Will Be Trippy As Well

March your way into spring with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier coming to Disney Plus next month; another exciting addition to the cast is Emily VanCamp.

She will star alongside our favorite MCU heroes Sam “The Falcon” Wilson (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky “The Winter Soldier” Barnes (Sebastian Stan) as they go on worldwide adventures as part of the Avengers, post-Endgame. The show is set after Steve Rogers handed down the mantle for the next set of superheroes.

In a recent interview, Emily VanCamp commented that we can expect that certain elements will differ this series from WandaVision.

When WandaVision dropped earlier this year, everyone immediately fell under its spell, as one can see from all the Internet hype and fan reactions and theories.

YouTube and Reddit worked its magic and now viral theories and Easter Egg videos litter the web.

Emily VanCamp shared that while The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will share some of the trippy and mind-bending magic we have grown to love, it will not hesitate to present some good old-fashioned hard-hitting action MCU fans are familiar with.

2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier marked her MCU debut.

Emily VanCamp has had to juggle two roles: one is Sharon Carter for the MCU and one is Nicolette “Nic” Nevin, a nurse in The Resident on Fox.

Emily VanCamp said that since her two roles are such different characters, it has been challenging playing them at the same time.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and The Resident will be premiering simultaneously this year. She shot both last year, which she found an interesting experience.

Furthermore, all this with a worldwide pandemic going on, too. It took a bit but productions finally resumed after a while.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will premiere on Disney+ on March 19.
