Emily VanCamp Returns to MCU in Moon Knight

Emily VanCamp’s Sharon Carter could face Moon Knight in his upcoming Disney Plus series. The Power Broker is at it again.

Emily VanCamp made her MCU comeback in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

This was after a five-year absence.

Although it was much to the delight of her fans, there was a startling twist.

Towards the end of the series, Carter is revealed to be the mysterious Power Broker.

She worked in the shadows and had connections to fellow villains of the series: Flag Smasher (Erin Kellyman) and Georges Batroc (Georges St-Pierre).

This divisive revelation came as a shock to fans.

Some theorized that this may not actually be Sharon Carter at all.

Rather, it could be a Skrull masquerading as her.

This could very easily be with Secret Invasion looming.

Furthermore, the Skrulls are already well-established in the MCU.

In fact, they could already be posing as important characters without us knowing.

Whatever the case may be, seeds have been planted for the character’s future.

Moreover, apparently we could see them grow into another of Marvel Studios’ upcoming TV series.

According to a new report, Emily VanCamp is expected to reprise her role as Carter in Moon Knight.

Nevertheless, at this time it’s unknown if her role will be just a cameo or if she will play a significant part in Moon Knight.

Bear in mind this is just a rumor.

It does make sense for Carter to appear in Moon Knight.

After all, Marc Spector, one of his different personalities, is a former C.I.A. agent in the comics much like Carter in the MCU.

Nothing much is known about the upcoming series apart from its cast which includes Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke.

Moon Knight is currently filming right now, and a synopsis for the show has been revealed:

The action-adventure features a complex vigilante who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. The multiple identities who live inside him are distinct characters who appear against a backdrop of Egyptian iconography.

We may not know whether or not Emily VanCamp will appear in Moon Knight until the series finally premieres next year.

If not, the character is bound to show up again down the road in the MCU.
