Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness nearly featured Deadpool Easter eggs. In fact, an entire world of them. No, they didn’t cut a Ryan Reynolds scene. At least, there’s no admission of that.

In any case, Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) would’ve traveled through a planet of Deadpool posters. Furthermore, it’s not just Deadpool, either.

They tossed in Deadpool 2 promo art with Cable (Josh Brolin). On August 30, 2021, I scooped Brolin’s return as Cable. It’s the parody of Michaelangelo’s “The Creation of Adam.”

Granted, much of this would’ve sped through the cameras. Without a doubt, there’s no guarantee the footage would’ve lasted more than a few seconds. Nonetheless, it would’ve delighted fans.

Insiders bet that Hugh Jackman will appear in Deadpool 3. On the other hand, he might not be Wolverine but Jackman as himself. Or Jackman in Wolverine’s “Patch” identity. These are realistic possibilities. Unfortunately, information is scarce, even the leaked kind.

Jackman likes to tease his Wolverine return. If he’s not, why even hint at it?

His social-media jousting with Reynolds fuels speculation each time. Moreover, they’ve joked around for years. Shouldn’t it lead to something?

Certainly, there’s smoke. Fire can’t be far behind.

The absence of Deadpool in the MCU’s Phase Four causes impatience. The Doctor Strange Easter eggs would’ve lit up fandom.
