Deborah Ann Woll wants to return in Disney Plus’ Daredevil reboot.

In Netflix’ original Daredevil series, Deborah Ann Woll played one of the show’s core characters. She was Karen Page, among the partners of the Nelson, Murdock and Page law firm.

Daredevil gave Deborah Ann Woll a gripping personal arc. Page started out as an assistant. Afterwards, she became Daredevil’s love interest, just like in the comic books. In fact, Page ultimately developed a deep connection with Daredevil (Charlie Cox). She wasn’t just someone who had a relationship with Matt Murdock.

They fought injustice in their own ways.

As an investigative journalist, Page’s gut instincts followed her through her investigations. Moreover, they led her to many life-threatening situations. Yet she still did what she knew needed to be done. Sometimes her actions seemed rash or foolish. Nevertheless, she revealed tremendous courage.

The three’s partnership led to putting the Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) behind bars. But by the end of Season Three, they found themselves treading their individual paths apart from the law firm. Daredevil kept bringing danger to their table; therefore, it caused the firm’s end.

Deborah Ann Woll emphasized that she developed relationships with the characters of Daredevil. That she would not think twice meeting the characters again. She would love to revisit Page and get to work with Murdock and the Punisher (Jon Bernthal) again. Certainly, she misses the world of Daredevil.

Deborah Ann Woll said in an interview:

I would gladly, in a heartbeat, pick Karen back up. Obviously I would want it to be the right thing, I wouldn’t want to go for it if it felt completely different from what we did. I would come back because I want to play with Matt Murdock again…Even though I’ve stayed in touch with the humans, the characters are also fascinating people.

Daredevil is on the precipice of its new chapters. Knowing Murdock, he will dive right in. Cox’ cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home was just the beginning for Daredevil in the MCU. The Kingpin is already in the MCU as well, thanks to Hawkeye. In the meantime, Marvel Studios is developing the Punisher.

Sources acknowledged that Marvel Studios wants to bring back Deborah Ann Woll.
