Could Daredevil Open Door For Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. In MCU?

Now that we’ve seen Netflix’s Daredevil and Kingpin return, will Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. get their chance in the MCU?

Although Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. wasn’t canon, the multiverse changes that.

After all, Spider-Man: No Way Home brought Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield into the MCU.

Moreover, their movies weren’t produced by Disney.

Rather, they were from Sony.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was the first show that had any connection to the MCU.

The show focused on a secret team within S.H.I.E.L.D. led by Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) sometime after the events of The Avengers.

In addition, the series even had some eye-popping cameos from MCU regulars Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), and Lady Sif (Jaimie Alexander).

Furthermore, it connected to another MCU show, Marvel’s Agent Carter.

Agent Carter focused on another MCU favorite.

Hayley Atwell crossed over from film as Peggy Carter.

Nevertheless, although fans loved the idea of seeing connections with MCU movies, the later shows had less of it.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ended on its own terms and lasted from September 2013 up to August 2020.

But now the MCU has officially opened the multiverse.

In other words, they’ve revealed that pretty much any Marvel film or TV series is now part of the MCU.

Thus, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. buzzed on social media.

Fans have been clamoring the return of the show.

The appearance of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk in Hawkeye caused tremendous excitement.

It showed some hope that Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. may get a chance to be connected in the MCU.

On September 2019, Geekosity Editor-In-Chief Mikey Sutton scooped that Marvel Studios wanted Chloe Bennet back for a S.W.O.R.D. TV series.

That was even before S.W.O.R.D. was rumored for WandaVision.

Furthermore, there was insider gossip on Bennet for Disney Plus’ upcoming Secret Invasion.

Elizabeth Henstridge once teased her participation.

Bennet’s Quake was among Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s most popular characters.

Kevin Feige understands that there are fans of the program.

Millions of them globally.

He won’t shut that door, leaving money on the table.

When asked if there will be a revival of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Ming-Na Wen replied:

Fingers crossed. Who knows?

Thanks to Daredevil, it won’t take a Doctor Strange spell for it to happen.
