Charlize Theron could be the Fantastic Four’s the Invisible Woman.

A new report revealed that Charlize Theron signed with Marvel Studios.

However, the exact role is unknown.

Nevertheless, the signs point towards the Invisible Woman.

On January 15, I reported that John Krasinski was signed as Reed Richards.

Richards is Mister Fantastic, the Invisible Woman’s husband.

Fans cast both Krasinski and his real-life wife Emily Blunt for years now.

Likewise, they’ve been front runners for the roles.

However, Blunt was hesitant about lengthy contracts.

In March 2021, Small Screen explained that Blunt ceased discussions with Marvel Studios.

Still, she may have resumed talks after Krasinski.

That remains unanswered.

Although Krasinski’s addition is unconfirmed, it’s highly likely at this point.

The noise is simply too loud to ignore.

Krasinski reportedly debuts in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

While Krasinski only has a cameo, undoubtedly it’s only the beginning.

In regards to Charlize Theron, the leak offered the following:

She is past the talking stage. She has been cast in an upcoming movie. While our source did not confirm what the role is, they did share that Charlize Theron’s new character is a hero. They said that the announcement from Marvel will come sometime over the next few months.

Marvel Studios will announce The Fantastic Four cast soon.

In other words, the timing fits.

If Krasinski’s Richards is a multiverse variant, Theron’s Invisible Woman will be the same.

Charlize Theron is an Oscar-winning actress.

In addition, Charlie Theron became a genre favorite the past few years.

Mad Max: Fury Road and Atomic Blonde catapulted her into the Comic-Con crowd.

Furthermore, Netflix’ The Old Guard was a comic-book adaptation.

Yes, she may not be Blunt.

But her impact will loom large.

Three actresses have played the Invisible Woman in the past.

Rebecca Staab was the Invisible Woman in 1994’s The Fantastic Four.

While the movie was unreleased, it became available on bootlegged videocassettes.

Jessica Alba played her in two films: 2005’s Fantastic Four and 2007’s Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

Finally, Kate Mara starred in Josh Trank’s 2015 Fantastic Four flop.

Is Charlize Theron the next Invisible Woman?

We shall see.
