Charlie Cox wants a comic-accurate costume for Daredevil in Marvel Studios’ MCU.

Netflix had an impressive run with most of the Marvel shows for their streaming service.

Indeed, critics and fans praised most of their Marvel TV series.

But regardless of what you thought of Netflix’ Marvel shows, there was something lacking with them.

Specifically, Netflix went for a more realistic feel instead of what Marvel Studios did for their films. Marvel Studios delivered comic-accurate looks without making them look goofy.

With all the Marvel Comics characters that Netflix used, Charlie Cox’s Daredevil is the one that stood out mainly because he was the only one in costume.

It’s even amazing to see that Daredevil’s costume evolved through the series.

But it still lacked a major element. The “DD” on the chest. After all, it’s iconic.

It turns out that even the Daredevil star wants that “DD” on the suit when the character shows up in the MCU or evolve into it.

In an interview, Charlie Cox said:

What I would say is, I’ve always liked the idea that at some point in Matt’s journey, his emotional journey, and again, I don’t know how everything is happening, or what might happen, and how it ties into what we’ve already done, I have no idea at all. But I’ve always liked the idea that at some point he feels like he has earned the right to have the DD [on his chest], which we’ve never had.

Charlie Cox then added:

And one day down the line, I like the idea that he just makes that decision; we get to witness that evolution on screen. That’s just a little idea that I’ve had that I thought would be quite cool.

On February 22, 2021, I reported that Marvel Studios is interested in making more comic book accurate costumes.

This even included Netflix’ Daredevil and his rogues gallery.

There’s no hiding that Daredevil has already returned to the MCU.

We’ve seen Charlie Cox as Peter Parker’s lawyer in Spider-Man: No Way Home as Matthew Murdock.

Furthermore, he is already set to reprise his role in She-Hulk and Echo.

And with hearing that Marvel Studios is making another Daredevil series, we are sure that Charlie Cox will get the chance to upgrade his costume.

We are sure to see Daredevil in a comic-accurate look in the MCU.

Sources indicate that’ll happen in his own show.
