Black Panther Wakanda Forever Filming Date Revealed

Marvel Studios will return to Wakanda as the Black Panther sequel begins filming in December.

Michael Roman of the Everything Always YouTube channel provided us with this exclusive information.

Roman is actually based in Atlanta, Georgia; the city where production will commence.

Typically, Marvel Studios released scant details about Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

At this point, the film is a blank canvas in the imaginations of fans.

After the tragic passing of Chadwick Boseman, people speculated the movie’s plot.

Marvel Studios quickly debunked T’Challa’s recasting.

Marvel Studios’ EVP Victoria Alonso revealed:

There’s only one Chadwick and he’s not with us,

Our king, unfortunately, has died in real life, not just in fiction, and we are taking a little time to see how we return to history and what we do to honor this chapter of what has happened to us that was so unexpected, so painful, so terrible, really.

On January 28, I scooped that Michael B. Jordan could be the next Black Panther; however, he won’t be T’Challa.

As the villainous Erik Killmonger in 2018’s Black Panther, Jordan received universal acclaim; in fact, his sympathetic portrayal made a number of fans even side with his character philosophically.

But Killmonger died at the end of Black Panther.

Insiders revealed that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever could revive him for a redemption arc.

Moreover, he would become the new Black Panther and train Shuri to take the role in the future.

There is also the multiverse possibility rooted in the Doctor Strange sequel.

However, Killmonger from another Earth seems too complicated and weird for a Black Panther movie.

Sources said they won’t pursue that path.

On May 11, I reported that Anthony Mackie will appear as the new Captain America in the film.

Marvel Studios established a connection between Wakanda and Wilson.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier revealed that the Wakandans created Wilson’s high-tech Captain America outfit.

Tenoch Huerta of Netflix’s Narcos: Mexico was cast as the villain, but is he the main foe or just one of them?

Huerta’s role in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was undisclosed.

As the movie gets closer to production, more should be known.
