Baby Yoda Could Appear in The Book of Boba Fett

The Book of Boba Fett could feature Baby Yoda.

We know that Lucasfilm really keeps their secrets really tight.

Even with the classic movies, they had to name them as a different title while shooting to avoid suspicion.

Lucasfilm titled Return of the Jedi the bogus Blue Harvest while working on the film.

It’s generally the same case even now.

So it’s not going to be a surprise to see if they use another title when filming The Book of Boba Fett. Furthermore, they will provide items for the crew as a remembrance for working on the project.

We do know that filming of The Book of Boba Fett is pretty close to finishing up.

This is going to star Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett, who took the role ever since Star Wars Episode II – Attack of the Clones (2002).

The original Boba Fett was portrayed by Jeremy Bulloch.

Ming-Na Wen will also reprise her role as Fennec Shand from The Mandalorian.

The latest news about the series is a recent image from the Twitter account Boba Fett Fan Club.

The image in question is the Buccaneer Season 1 image.

The name “buccaneer” seems to be the working title of the production.

You will notice that the sweatshirt worn by Morrison has the same name as the image in question.

Note that the Buccaneer logo on the image uses a Western font in comparison to the sweatshirt.

The sweatshirt, on the other hand, is using the font used similar to The Mandalorian.

This seems to confirm that the image might be really part of the production items for The Book of Boba Fett series.

Given the image uses a font that recalls Westerns, it still might be one of the thematic influences of the show.

Furthermore, the sweatshirt has the logo of Jon Favreau’s production company called Golem Creations.

Nevertheless, some have speculated that there is something more to the image.

Some seem to see that Baby Yoda, Grogu, might be cradled by Boba Fett.

People are now thinking that Grogu might show up in the upcoming series.

Grogu, also known as “The Child,” has been a popular character in the Star Wars universe ever since he was introduced in The Mandalorian in 2019.

The show starred Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin but most of the time he’s only called “Mando.”

Grogu is a Force sensitive 50-year-old baby that is the same alien race as Master Yoda.

Their race was never really identified throughout the entire franchise.

He’s so popular that it’s kind of impossible to think of The Mandalorian without Grogu.

That would be interesting to see: Boba Fett and Grogu together.

However, I do wonder how that can happen.

What trouble did Grogu get himself into this time?

There is going to be a lot of questions with that idea alone which is going to dive into spoiler territory.

Looking back at the image, I think this is just mere speculation.

I keep looking at the image, and I can’t see Grogu.

I presume that the one they see as Grogu could be Boba Fett’s belt.

For a production image, I don’t think it makes any sense to actually add Grogu unless it’s an old picture that they used before and just reworked it for the new production series image.

It also loses focus on what is actually important to the series: Boba Fett getting his reputation back as the most bad-ass bounty hunter in the galaxy.

Don’t get me wrong.

I’d like to see Grogu back, but I really have to set my expectations a bit different this time; this is not the same series.

I really want Boba Fett to be the focus of the show and introduce something new.

The Book of Boba Fett will be set in the Star Wars timeline right after Season Two of The Mandalorian, which is five years after Return of the Jedi.

The series is set to be shown on Disney Plus at the holiday season of 2021.
