Andrew Garfield is willing to return as Spider-Man. He issued countless denials of being in Spider-Man: No Way Home. However, he’s open about his future with the franchise.
Nevertheless, Andrew Garfield won’t do it for the sake of it.
Indeed, Andrew Garfield has certain conditions.
After all, his return in Spider-Man: No Way Home had meaning.
Andrew Garfield explained what he wants to Entertainment Tonight:
So, if there’s a way for me to continue to add to the legacy of that character in a way that feels like it’s of service to an audience, of service to the themes that [co-creator] Stan Lee injected that character with, I’m open, of course, I’m very, very open, but it would have to be very, very special. It would have to be very, very meaningful and fun, and joyful, like doing No Way Home was.
Clearly, Spider-Man: No Way Home was beyond a paycheck for him.

In fact, the film presented one of his best performances.
Moreover, it redeemed his hit-or-miss solo movies.
After The Amazing Spider-Man 2 fell below expectations, Sony canceled the third movie.
They handed the franchise to Marvel Studios.
Thus, Tom Holland replaced Andrew Garfield.
Now audiences want more Andrew Garfield after Spider-Man: No Way Home.
This time, Andrew Garfield can answer questions honestly.
Never say never. It’s a character that’s always going to be so meaningful to me, and so beautiful to me and again, it comes back to service. I think if there’s a way, because that’s what that character is all about, he’s all about serving the greater good and serving his fellow people, serving humanity and all life.
Andrew Garfield added that Spider-Man is:
Always going to be a part of me, whether I’m playing the character or not.
On December 30, 2021, I scooped that Garfield and Tobey Maguire could team up in a Spider-Men film.
Undoubtedly, that would separate itself from Spider-Man: No Way Home.
No rehash there as Holland won’t be in it.
On the other hand, Sony could proceed with The Amazing Spider-Man 3.
Fans are rallying for it.
In any case, Andrew Garfield is simply waiting for the right script.
