Agents Of SHIELD actress Chloe Bennet returns to TV. However, it won’t be an MCU series. In fact, it’s not a comic-book show. Instead, Chloe Bennet has joined the third season of the FXX series Dave.
Rumors of Bennet’s Marvel comeback have swirled for over a year now. The gossip has focused on Secret Invasion. After all, Secret Invasion stars Samuel L. Jackson as the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., Nick Fury. Moreover, when Bennet left the CW’s live-action Powerpuff Girls, Secret Invasion began filming.
Thus, the timing was suspicious. In addition, keep in mind the rumors circulated prior to her exit.

Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. introduced several characters who developed into fan favorites. Bennet’s Quake shook fandom. As a matter of fact, many even consider her to be one of the MCU’s most beloved characters. Furthermore, she was the MCU’s first Asian superhero. Granted, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. may or may not be MCU canon anymore.
Nevertheless, it doesn’t matter. The point is Chloe Bennet beat everyone else to it.
Since Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. concluded, Bennet co-starred in 2020’s Valley Girl remake. But Powerpuff Girls crashed into development hell. Bennet signed to play Blossom. She did film the project but then left.
Bennet also voiced main character Yi in the 2019 Dreamworks animated movie Abominable. She’ll reprise the role in Hulu’s upcoming spin-off, Abominable and the Invisible City, this October.

But Dave marks Bennet’s return to television. Dave is based on the real-life experiences of rapper Dave “Lil Dicky” Burd who portrays himself in the program. The show also stars GaTa, Andrew Santino, Taylor Misiak, Travis Bennett and Christine Ko.
Bennet will play Robyn, a photographer from Wisconsin who meets Dave while he’s on tour. She’ll appear in a recurring role throughout a multi-episode arc.
On June 19, 2022, we scooped that Bennet’s Quake could join Agents of Atlas. Agents of Atlas will be the MCU’s Asian Avengers. In Marvel Comics, Shang-Chi and Jimmy Woo belong to Agents of Atlas. Sources reveal that Marvel Studios will bring the group to the MCU.
